New Orleans Needs Your Help
AidNola is a not-for-profit organization based in New York City dedicated to relieving human suffering and devastation resulting from Hurricane Katrina. We are a group of concerned members of the arts & entertainment industries who want to lend our support and resources to the people of New Orleans and surrounding areas. Our mission is to raise funds to help rebuild the lives of the people of New Orleans and help preserve the arts and entertainment of the great city of New Orleans.
We will not forget the cultural impact New Orleans has had on our nation and the world. We will not forget the big brass bands with swinging, syncopated beats that made us jump to our feet and dance. We will not forget the crowded streets vibrating with energy during Mardi Gras and Jazzfest. As the city recovers and is rebuilt, we will help ensure that the arts are restored in New Orleans and surrounding Gulf areas.
Unprecedented destruction and suffering calls for an extraordinary response. We are heartbroken but we are not helpless. AidNola aims to not only help the people get back on their feet but preserve the glorious Louisiana culture that enriched our lives and our nation.
